Arabic AI search: earn relevance beyond the keyword

Brands need useful answers in Arabic—not a new layer of search-engine jargon.

What the evidence says

Google announced the Arabic rollout of AI Mode on 8 October 2025. Its Search Central guidance states that existing SEO foundations remain relevant and that no special AI markup is required. Eligibility still depends on indexing and snippet availability; inclusion is not guaranteed.

The Metrix-360 interpretation

Our interpretation for Saudi and regional brands is to organise content around decisions customers genuinely need to make. A service page should explain suitability, scope, limitations and the next step. An Arabic comparison should use natural questions and terminology rather than mechanically mirror English keyword lists. AI-generated summaries increase the importance of having a clear, consistent source of truth, but there is no defensible promise that a particular article will be cited. We would treat answer visibility as a research observation, not a replacement for qualified enquiries or sales.

A proposed 90-day action plan

Our implementation recommendations—not findings from the source study.

  1. Days 1–30: Collect recurring sales questions in Arabic and English. Check which existing pages answer them clearly and which leave important details inaccessible.
  2. Days 31–60: Publish a small set of decision-oriented pages with named sources, current information and links to relevant capabilities. Review Arabic for meaning and usability.
  3. Days 61–90: Monitor indexing, search traffic and the quality of downstream enquiries. Sample relevant AI answers over time, recording query, language and date without presenting that sample as market share.

What to measure

  • Indexed priority pages and relevant search queries
  • Qualified enquiries from organic landing pages
  • Completion of useful content-to-enquiry journeys
  • Dated observations of brand inclusion, with sampling limits

Risks to avoid

Avoid selling guaranteed AI rankings or treating a new file or schema as a shortcut. Search results vary by query and context. Rising impressions with weak enquiry quality may indicate that the content attracts curiosity rather than commercial relevance.

Build the clearest answer to the customer’s decision, then measure the business journey it supports.

Methodology & limitations

Based on Google product information and technical documentation. These explain eligibility and product behaviour, not independent evidence of a revenue uplift for Saudi brands.
